Adelaide Airport Solar Install Is Now On Roll

At last! Adelaide Airport’s solar rooftop is now fully functional and is currently supplying approximately 10% of airports energy needs using its 1.17MW generated energy.

The new system, installed on the roof of airport’s short-term car park brings the airport’s total solar capacity to 1.28MW – adding to panels installed on the domestic and international terminals in 2007.

This huge car park system and is also called as Australia’s largest rooftop solar install and the country’s largest solar car park is expected to supply 100% of the car park’s electricity needs.
